Plant a Smile at Pelion Outdoor Classroom!

Found FOUR egg sacs Wednesday (and had already found 2 earlier). These can hatch up to 50 very opportunistic predators; they will eat pests AND beneficial bugs like butterflies if they’re nearby when the hunger pains strike. Can your garden support 50? How about 225 praying mantids? IF NOT, It’s OK to relocate these egg sacs along the 290 at 65mph.

APRIL IS VOLUNTEER MONTH and we are very grateful to everyone that gives us a little bit of time on all our big and tiny tasks. We appreciate one-timers; but, TBH we LOVE the folks that come again and again most. Buffalo spring is finally waking up and warming up. As you plan your Earth Month activities, please keep us on your radar.

Price gouging or highway robbery? Guess who expects us to pay $105 to promote this flyer for 5days. For context, our previous ads have only been $14 for 7days (and we can rarely afford that option). Fans please email, tage, share, or thumb this graphic even if you're venturing to a different spot. We really appreciate the support so we have an enthusiastic audience.

click pic for survey link I hope this survey is open to more than just NFALLS residents. I go up there frequently with guests and friends and we MARVEL at how much IS NOT OPEN! A true public market, like what is seen in Ithaca and elsewhere, that has entertainment, children's activities, EVENING HOURS and even LOCAL community resources would be such an incredible asset to the region. Even though I'm single, feeding myself dinner after work is such a drudgery and I wish more of these markets invited vendors that sold take home fixuns or frozen dinners... You can find frozen pot pies near Naples and honor stands that have breads and pastries. Surely these similar vendors exist between NFalls and BFLO/Lockport/Lewiston/N.Tonawanda?? Let's not forget how long winter is and how schizo spring is--suggest some infrasture to extend the market's season.
